For the last two days we have been celebrating our Community Feast. This is not a liturgical feast, but an important tradition in Carmel, a time to give thanks to God for the community which He has given to us, and to deepen the mutual love which binds us together in the ‘little college of Christ’, of which St. Teresa of Avila spoke. On this day, the sisters give the prioress all the things they have made during the year. Here are some photos of the sisters and their gifts.
